Two players take turns filling in one square at a time. Each player uses a different color or initial to fill in their squares. The first player can fill in any square. On each play, only squares connected to previously filled in squares can be filled in. The first player ot fill in 5 squares in a row (vertical, horizontal, or diagonal) is the winner.
